2017: Fortna was selected for its project that helped an industrial parts supplier enable faster fulfillment, reduce costs, add capacity, and handle new business requirements. The results included cut order processing time from three days to less than one, 99.82 percent order accuracy, 30 percent improvement in productivity and doubled network capacity.
2016: Fortna was honored for its project with Ulta Beauty that included IT system capabilities, store-ready shipments for faster shelf stocking in stores, and leveraged a common pool of inventory across channels. Ulta Beauty improved store delivery times by more than 50 percent, while improving inventory accuracy and reducing out-of-stocks.
2015: Fortna was recognized for its work with New Era Cap Company. Fortna helped retrofit an existing distribution center to support New Era’s tremendous growth by increasing storage capacity and throughput while still running at full production.
2014: Fortna was awarded for its work with a large electronics distributor. The winning project included rolling out a single, integrated software solution across their entire North American distribution network. Fortna’s Warehouse Control System – FortnaWCS™– was at the core of the solution.
2013: Fortna was awarded for its work with a large apparel retailer who was expecting phenomenal growth and wanted a long-term strategy to support its multiple channels. Fortna helped the company retrofit its existing distribution center so that it can process twice as many orders and fulfill an order in half the time. Most importantly, the retailer has a roadmap for the future and the distribution capacity to take on new brands and products.
2012: Fortna was recognized for its work with a major retailer whose distribution centers could not keep up with the company’s growth rate of 30 new stores per year. By remapping its distribution process and retrofitting its distribution centers, the retailer cut in half the time it takes to ship from DC to store and reduced distribution operations cost by $23 million.
2011: Fortna was honored for its project at MSC Industrial that was the single biggest cost-cutting initiative in MSC’s history. The company saw a 62% improvement in productivity, a double-digit ROI, improved cash flow and better employee morale.
2010: Fortna was named to the SDCE 100 List for the first time in the consulting category.
