3D Painting to be Created Live at ProMat 2015 at Fortna Booth #4573

READING, PA (March 23, 2015) – Fortna, the Distribution Experts™, will feature the live rendering of a 3D painting at Booth #4573 at ProMat 2015, March 23-26 at McCormick Place in Chicago.  Fortna commissioned We Talk Chalk to create the 9’ x 15’ artwork that depicts a distribution center under the exhibit hall floor.

Attendees can watch the artist work and have their picture taken hovering over this unique artwork, brought to life by street artist Lyndsey Morel.

Members of the media are invited to a special “Sneak Peak” before the exhibit hall opens on Tuesday, from 9:00 – 10:00 am.

Fortna Hires John Mertz as Chief Financial Officer

READING, PA – Fortna, the distribution experts™, announces the hiring of John Mertz as Chief Financial Officer.  Mertz will be a key member of Fortna’s senior executive team and will focus on leading the full scope of financial management both domestically and internationally.

Mertz brings to Fortna more than 35 years of experience in finance and operations, specifically in the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.  During his career, he has successfully driven sustainable, strategic growth of revenues and profits, leveraging strong operational and financial skills.  He has traveled and conducted business extensively throughout the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

Prior to joining Fortna, Mertz worked for FLSmidth, a $3 billion supplier to the cement and minerals industries, where he held a number of executive management positions including Controller, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and most recently, Sr. Vice President of Global Operations.
