Genesco is a leader in the wholesale/retail shoe and accessory business with retail brands including Journeys, Journeys Kidz, Jarman, Underground Station, and Johnston & Murphy.
 
Increased sales volumes demanded a larger, more efficient distribution facility and Warehouse Management System.   To address store growth, Genesco retained Fortna to design their new 320,000 square foot distribution center in Lebanon, TN and outfit it with advanced materials handling equipment.  FortnaDCmodeler was used throughout the design process to maximize throughput while reducing the overall building footprint.

Fortna/Q4 performed the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a new WMS that integrates with the MHS. The new facility and system will support Genesco’s projected growth across all retail and wholesale divisions for the next decade.
