Fortna partnered to design Sur La Table's Indiana distribution operation in order to manage a growth explosion in its multi-channel distribution operation. Key to the design was the flexibility and scalability to grow into solutions required to meet future growth. As growth continued, Fortna designed an operation with longer-term solutions in mind. Fortna recently integrated into Sur La Table's operation a new mix-media multi-level forward picking operation, which provides both improved throughput and storage capacity.
