The acquisition of BMG Music represented an approximate 50% increase in throughput and SKUs in Sony's supply chain. A Fortna/Q4 team led Sony through integration of BMG Music through operations design and implementation. This effort involved increasing the capacity and throughput of two existing facilities as well as extensive transition planning efforts.
The team has designed and implemented new material handling flows and equipment, led the integration of best practices, and assisted in organizational design and overall supply chain design enhancements to increase Sony's responsiveness to their clients.
