Two Fortna Clients Named 2017 DC Velocity Rainmakers

Two of Fortna’s clients, Hobey Strawn of TTI Inc. and Jack Samson of L.L.Bean, have been named 2017 Rainmakers by DC Velocity. Highlighted in their July issue, eight supply chain professionals were selected because each are “united by a common goal of advancing the logistics and supply chain management profession.”

Hobey Strawn is vice president of operations for the Americas at TTI Inc. He is responsible for the company’s distribution operations and logistics functions, including all activities related to receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, transportation/freight, and trade compliance.

Jack Samson serves as vice president fulfillment, returns, manufacturing, and logistics at L.L.Bean. He’s currently the project lead for a team that’s focused on strengthening the company’s omnichannel retailing strategy and practices, which includes a redesigned distribution center and the installation of a new WMS.
