Peter Counihan
President
Peter acquired Fortna Inc. in 1989 with a vision to become a complete supply chain solutions provider.  His leadership and example to provide unwavering dedication to client satisfaction runs throughout the Fortna team. 
 
Peter is focused on providing quantifiable business results through Fortna's holistic supply chain services.  Whether companies are large or small, he leads Fortna in delivering a strong return on investment and bottom-line results.
 
He is a member of CSCMP and WERC.

 

Albert Avalos

Albert Avalos has worked in the IT, distribution operations, and consulting space since the late 1980’s. In 1998, he formed Q4 Logistics to fill a gap he saw in the supply chain services industry - a true design and implementation firm that balanced people, process and information technology. Q4 became part of the Fortna family in November 2006.

Albert’s responsibilities include developing and executing Fortna's strategy and vision, leading client engagements, and ensuring client and associate satisfaction.

John White brings over 17 years experience in supply chain strategy & planning, supplier relationship management, sourcing, procurement, supply chain network strategy, inventory management, distribution operations strategy & implementation, operations re-engineering, facility & materials handling systems design, warehouse management systems, business process re-engineering and change management.
 
He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology.  John is a member of WERC, CSCMP, and the Georgia Tech Logistics Institute.

Howard Hammer brings many years of experience in providing complete supply chain solutions to our clients.  He manages Fortna clients and prospects in the eastern region of the US.

David Farmer
Central Region Vice President

David Farmer has been successfully providing solutions to Fortna clients for over 10 years.  He and his team support clients and prospective clients in the central region of the US.

Dan Graville
Western Region Vice President

Dan and his team focus on partnering with new and existing clients in the western region of the US, working towards continuous supply chain improvement and increased bottom-line profitability. 
 
Dan has over 20 years experience in supply chain and distribution operations design, and implementation and integration, working in a broad range of vertical markets and applications.  He is a frequent speaker at industry events and universities, and is an active participant in professional trade associations including CSCMP and WERC.

Richard Kingdon

Vice President, Supply Chain Consulting

Richard brings over twenty years of global logistics, supply chain and transportation experience to this position.  Based in Toronto, he will focus on growing Fortna's Canadian business and will serve as the lead for Fortna Canada Inc.

 

In his role at Fortna, Richard will support the continued growth and leadership of the Supply Chain Consulting Practice with a focus on quality assurance, key client delivery management, sales support, practice development and management support.

 

He brings many years of experience in network analysis, supply chain systems selection and implementation and operational improvement in a wide variety of industries.


Sheryl Hayes
Vice President Systems Implementations
 
Sheryl brings over a decade of direct distribution and IT experience to Fortna.  Her multi-functional background has given her strong analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills.  Our clients are well-served by her ability to apply implementation methodology tools to drive project success.
 
Sheryl focuses on delivering the promise of supply chain execution systems.  She and her teams provide overall project management skills as well as tactical skills including systems design, configuration, testing, documentation, customized training programs, go-live management and post go-live support.

Rod Wyles
Vice President of Technical Services
 
 Rod brings extensive supply chain execution systems implementation experience to Fortna.  He is well-versed in bringing up complex systems and ensuring they meet clients' business goals.
 
Rod balances his technical skills and operational knowledge with proven technical execution capabilities.  He focuses on developing plans, procedures and formats to design and implement the most effective technologies and systems solutions for our clients.

Justin O'Toole

Justin's extensive career in distribution and operations has provided him with a wealth of strategic knowledge as well as specific skills that our clients find invaluable.  He offers a unique capability to refine operational processes and facilities to deliver the most cost effective and efficient distribution environment.
 
Justin focuses on understanding our clients' supply chain needs and challenges and then defines creative solutions for improvement.  He is experienced in leading cross functional teams to identify opportunities in strategic design, best practices, and maximized use of equipment and technologies.

Patti Satterfield brings many years of distribution application, technology, and marketing skills to her role.

She is focused on expanding Fortna's client base in the supply chain solution implementation market, expanding Fortna's quality brand, enhancing business alliances, and ensuring client satisfaction. She is a nationally recognized speaker and writer on the topics of logistics technologies and practices.

She is a member of CSCMP, MHIA and WERC.

Jacques Hasbani

Jacques brings many years of software development, technical support and distribution experience to his role at Fortna.

He is focused on developing Fortna's software products as well as supporting the clients who use them to optimize their operations.

Larry Jones
Vice President of Operations

Larry brings over 18 years of direct operations experience and materials handling system design and implementation to his role at Fortna.

He is focused on delivering maximum value to Fortna's clients by coordinating all phases of project design and implementation.  Larry and his team have total responsibility for the successful delivery of materials handling systems project to our clients.  
 
Larry and his team's responsibilities include taking ownership of and signing off on MHE designs, schedules, controls functionality, software scope, and ensuring a future reference site for each of our clients. 

Brent Tymensky

Brent brings many years of hands-on experience with facility and systems design as well as implementation expertise to his role at Fortna.

He is focused on providing practical yet innovative and optimized engineering designs to meet our clients' business goals.  Brent also leads an experienced team of implementers who make designs come to life.

Dave Hoffman

David oversees all financial aspects at Fortna.  Prior to joining the company, he managed financial and business operational activities in the Global Services Division of a Fortune 200 company.  David is a graduate of Villanova's Executive MBA program.
