Fortna’s project at MSC Industrial was named to the Top 100 Great Supply Chain Projects for 2011 by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine. This award goes to supply chain transformation projects that have had significant impact on their companies. It was the single biggest cost-cutting initiative in MSC’s history. Fortna Client, Penske Logistics: Supplier of the Year
Whirlpool Corporation
Penske Logistics, was recently awarded Whirlpool’s “Supplier of the Year” award based on the success of their labor management program that was piloted in Perris, CA. Fortna partnered with Penske and Whirlpool to create and implement a comprehensive Organizational Excellence program, the results of which included Labor productivity increases and cost reductions.

Fortna Associates Active Role In Professional Organizations
A large number of Fortna associates are members of the Atlanta chapters of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and the Warehouse Education Research Council (WERC). Fortna has taken the lead in the development of local chapters of CSCMP in Nashville, Cleveland, Phoenix, and Philadelphia. Through our recent growth into Latin America (e.g., Venezuela, Colombia, Panama) we are in the early stages of developing local chapters of CSCMP in these countries as well.
